We are alone. Wandering about our existence. Purpose, some find it. Others search their entire life, and nothing. Nothing. That's what we are. That's what we are worth. Forgotten as time chugs on.

Too many locked doors.
Too many locked rooms.
Couldn't mask the smell.
Desperation leaking through.
In the hall is so much light.
Crystal clear and bright.
Couldn't hide the face.
Or trouble in our eyes.

Grown too old.
So mean.
Hate the earth and stars.
Everything in between.
Angry, bitter.
Left to wallow in misery.

Ammo for all.
Sure builds a community.
Fighting fire with flames.
All on a losing team.

Repeated offences.
Generational bickering.
Ignored forgotten pasts.
Or selective memory.
Not a single new event.
More people listening.

Didn't feel like playing.
