Untitled

There's nothing refusing to let us see.
Except our battle against complacency.
We could bring about the end, when we do more than pretend.
Shame our eyes who watch but never speak.

Lemons(Kind of a satirical love song)

Verse 1
You're always with your lemon stand.
I'm always with my crew.
Oh so many times I've passed.
Just to catch a glimpse of you.
Everyday is the same now.
I just don't know what to do.
Shave my head.
Buy new jeans.
Just to buy some of your fruit.

Chorus 3X
I don't know you, but I want to.

Verse 2
I'll grab your hand.
If you turn to run back.
Tell me all your hopes and dreams.
We'll find out where they live.
Beautiful I'm sure you've been told.
But I'll say it anyway.

Chorus 3X
I don't know you, but I want to.

Verse 3
You're always with your lemon stand.
I'm always with my crew.
Oh how many times I've passed.
To sneak a peek of you.
Everydays the same now.
I don't know what to do.
Shave my head.
Remove anxiousness.
Get a taste of your fruit.

I Sold

I sold my soul, to the devil in gold.
These rhymes are now his, and that smile is making me sick.
I know what I've done, but the songs just needed sung.
I tried so long, to reach this point all on my own.

Chorus:
I've made a mistake.
I didn't know which route to take.
Stuck at these crossroads and could really use some help.
Too late, I've signed on the line, now I'm stuck in hell.

Give me more green, I'll try to change the scene.
Give you more words, go create your own verse.
This musics not mine, it's too hard to refine.
You've made it to appeal, but the emotions weren't real.

Chorus

I'll leave this phony business. Keep my music the way that it is.
Just hope that you'll forget about our little commitment.

What?

What to do, oh what to do.
Does anyone know just what to do?

If only life came with a tape, and a manual too.
Maybe then would we know what to do.

Old Lyrics I Call "The Struggle"

From the wind that blows.
The quiet of a light snow.
With the Suns piercing glows.
All the animals do know.
The pain that we swallow.
Like trees we're hollow.
As humans we follow.
Wherever water flows.

Before the sunset.
We try to do our best.
Generations never last.
We shouldn't love the past.
Have hope for the future.
And hope for the present.
Tomorrow's a new day.
But for some it isn't.

The Rays

A big idea. With a little planning.
Our biggest concern should probably be the landing.
Built the ship, flew into space.
Dodged meteors and things on the Solar Highway.
I don't want to hurt aliens, because out here I am one.
I'll aim at the ground, or shoot the sun with my ray gun.

Jump Off 610

We could drive off a cliff. Just find the one you want.
But Houston's rather flat.
May have better luck jumping from a 610 stack.

Or we could leave. Bound for Corpus Christi.
The sun can burn the bad out of us.
While we pitch a tent at the beach.
